THIS incredible picture, described as a ‘masterpiece of its genre’ by Daily Mail Editor Paul Dacre, was taken by award-winning Mail photographer Ted Blackbrow, who has died aged 78. Ted worked for the Mail for 37 years and formed a peerless partnership with legendary sports writer Ian Wooldridge. The former Sports Photographer of the Year died on Sunday after a short illness and his funeral is on September 18 at South Essex Crematorium in Upminster.
