Betts insists Widnes are not safe just yet

WIDNES coach Denis Betts warned his side they still have work to do after taking a big step towards retaining their Super League status with a 24-8 win at Leigh in the Super 8s Qualifiers. Betts said: ‘We came into the game with the attitude that we were the better team. ‘We wanted to be a bit more arrogant about the way we carried ourselves. ‘We have put ourselves in a good position, but there’s still a battle going on.’
