Slattery blows title chance on the last

-

LEE SLATTERY threw away his two-shot third-round lead to finish runner-up in the Czech Masters in Prague. South Africa’s Haydn Porteous had a final-round 69 for a 275 total and a two-shot victory over the Englishman, who closed with a one-over-par 73. Slattery, whose wife is 10 days overdue with the couple’s second child, saw his hopes ended when he bogeyed the last hole after pulling his approach. Another Englishman, Tom Lewis, was tied for third.
