IT’S PLAY-OFF PERIL

IF the campaign finished now, eight from these nine nations would enter a two-legged play-off: Sweden, Portugal, Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, Montenegro, Slovakia, Italy, Bosnia and Ukraine. Holland, Scotland and Turkey are all outside play-off positions, while Egypt, Ghana, Argentina, Australia and USA are struggling to make it, too. Maybe it’s not so bad being an England fan.
