Mike Tindall’s tell-all at Annabel’s nightclub
MEGHAN MARKLE opens her heart about Prince Harry in Vanity Fair magazine — but Zara Phillips’s husband, Mike Tindall, chooses to tell all in a nightclub.
The former England rugby captain is to give a talk at Annabel’s, the Mayfair private club, whose members will have to stump up £45 each to hear his bon mots.
Tindall will join his former England team-mates Andy Goode and Will Greenwood at the talk later this month, in which they will discuss their ‘career highlights’. Nightclubs can be dangerous places for Tindall. He was effectively dropped from the national team for his off-field antics during the disastrous World Cup campaign in 2011.
The husband of the Queen’s grand-daughter was also fined £25,000 for his role in the team’s infamous New Zealand night out.
Smarting over their poor performance in the opening match, the players downed cut-price shots at a ‘ dwarftossing’ competition while the newly married Tindall drunkenly cavorted with a glamorous former girlfriend.
