Tax takeback

THOUSANDS of people who build their homes fail to claim back VAT on labour and materials, a study by the Homebuilding & Renovating Show has found. One in four of the 12,800 people who build their properties each year don’t realise they can claim this cash and may miss out on around £30,600 each.
