David Williams, 65 Chairman, Shearwater Group

DAVID Williams, chairman of cyber security firm Shearwater Group, has bought nearly £ 300,000 worth of shares in the firm.

The 65-year-old, who once claimed to have read just five books in his entire life, bought around 6.3m shares at 4.5p each, which brings his total holding in the company to just over 12.4pc.

Williams, who was raised in Jersey, also serves on the board of constructi­on materials firm Breedon Group and the biotechnol­ogy firm Oxford Biodynamic­s.
