SHOREDITCH conference call start- up LoopUp Group phoned in blinding first half results, driven by strong demand in the US.

LoopUp allows businesses to organise a video meeting in a few clicks, which avoids technical hitches and communication issues. The firm saw its year-on-year revenues jump 44.2pc to £8.7m, while profits rose 264.3pc to £510,000, with the US now generating 52pc of sales.

Shares rose 13.2pc, or 26p, to 222.5p, an all-time high.
