Strictly judge Shirley turns blooming 57!

LATIN dance champion Shirley Ballas, who is to replace Len Goodman as Strictly Come Dancing’s new head judge, has already been dubbed ‘scary’ by the show’s departing champion pro dancer Joanne Clifton.

But Shirley was all smiles at her 57th birthday and left private members’ club Albert’s in South Kensington clutching a bouquet of flowers and a balloon.

Evidently, the twice-divorced mother of one has no qualms about embracing the BBC show’s penchant for bold colours, pairing tight black leather trousers with a red jacket and matching fiery skyscraper heels.
