JUNE 15 – OUT

‘Leaving the EU means we need to leave the single market.’

JULY 23 – OUT

Labour would leave single market as that is ‘dependent on membership of the EU’.

AUGUST 31 – IN... for ever

‘Being part of the customs union and the single market is important in those transitional times... and it might be a permanent outcome.’

SEPT 3 – IN... temporarily

‘What we’ve said is the transitional period... will be within a customs union and within a single market.’

YESTERDAY – IN or OUT?
