Mugged by Tesco?

ON THE day the Mail revealed that Tesco is withholding £3.4 million from the sale of 5p plastic bags that shoppers thought was going to charity, I spotted how it is making up the shortfall in charity donations.

Checking my receipt, I discovered I had been charged a 12p charity round-up on my bill. This was added without consultation or my permission. I did not see any notices to alert shoppers to this practice.
