Rubbish advice

IT’s rare that on one page a problem is reported and on the opposite page the answer is provided (Mail).

The problem concerned a report that councils have proposed an increase in fines for littering. The answer was in a story about travellers dumping rubbish.

I would urge all law-abiding citizens to put their rubbish in the nearest bin. However, if you should fall foul of one of the many litter enforcement officers stalking the country, simply tell them you are a traveller.

The police will be reluctant to get involved, as the PC brigade will claim they are picking on a minority. The council will ignore the issue in the hope they can tick another box in their diversity agenda and that the problem will simply go away.
