HARRIS FUMING AFTER 10 MEN LET LEAD SLIP

- ADAM SHERGOLD

MILLWALL manager Neil Harris was highly critical of the decision to dismiss Lee Gregory as his team tossed away a two-goal lead to draw a feisty London derby at Queens Park Rangers.

Referee Roger East showed Gregory a straight red when he went in feet first on Josh Scowen late in the first half with the visitors 1-0 up.

‘It was a crazy decision,’ said Harris. ‘In a London derby there are tackles flying in. It was a 50-50 and both players were diving in for the ball. It changed the game because we bossed the first 45 minutes.’

Massimo Luongo and Matt Smith earned Rangers a point after Conor McLaughlin and Jed Wallace had put the visitors in command.

But QPR could be in trouble after a fan hurled a plastic bottle at Steve Morison as he celebrated Wallace’s goal. Bizarrely, when Morison showed the bottle to the referee, he was booked.

QPR boss Ian Holloway said: ‘We let another one in against 10 men and normally QPR would fold. But we felt we should have won.’
