PICK OF THE DAY

WITHOUT LIMITS: VIETNAM , 8PM, BBC1

-

THIS inspiring two-part documentary (which concludes next week) follows a unique group of six disabled people as they embark on a highly ambitious and emotional adventure, travelling nearly 900 miles through Vietnam. Among them are (pictured left to right) Vicky Balch, who lost her leg as a result of the shocking Alton Towers roller coaster accident in 2015; Mary, who was born with achondroplasia, the most common cause of dwarfism. Olympic wheelchair rugby captain Steve Brown, who is paralysed from the chest down; and Andy Slade, who lost an arm in an industrial accident nearly ten years ago. An extraordinary and uplifting testament to the human spirit at its most potent.
