Time for swift justice

FROm the day he was chosen to run the Grenfell Tower inquiry, Sir martin mooreBick has been under attack from Left-wing agitators and opportunist Labour mPs complaining he is too white, male and old to come to fair conclusions – and who were at it again yesterday.

The mail does not share their prejudiced view, and hopes this eminent judge is allowed to get on with discovering the truth without being obstructed by endless legal and political posturing.

Nor must he get sidetracked on irrelevant social issues. For what is absolutely imperative is that he produces his report as quickly as possible so lessons can be learned. That would be the best way to ensure that victims get the justice they deserve.
