Halle’s red carpet f lair at 51

IN her latest film she plays a working-class single mother who wears baggy, dishevelled clothes.

But Halle Berry was clearly keen to show off her more glamorous side at the premiere of Kings this week. The 51-year-old stepped out on to the red carpet in a low-cut lace top embroidered with flowers, teamed with stylish black flares, at the Toronto International Film Festival on Wednesday.

For her latest role, the Oscarwinning actress plays a mother who bakes and sells cakes while running a refuge for runaway children in her apartment. The film is based on the 1992 Los Angeles riots and also stars Daniel Craig.

The former Bond girl’s red carpet appearance was more successful than last month, when she accidentally flashed her bra at the premiere of Kidnap in Hollywood.
