Plumbing the depths
IT’S all very well for Sarah Vine to advise youngsters to become plumbers, not lawyers (Mail).
My 21-year- old grandson did a plumbing course at college and passed all his exams with distinction. But he couldn’t find a job because all the firms he applied to only wanted experienced plumbers.
He is now working the night shift packing fruit and veg. What a waste of young talent.
