Raging Bull is dead at 95

JAKE LaMotta, the former boxing champion, has died at 95.

LaMotta’s life of violence in and out of the ring was portrayed by Robert De Niro, left, in 1981 classic movie Raging Bull. Fighting in the 1940s and 50s, LaMotta finished his career with 83 victories, 19 losses and four draws. Outside the ring, he was abusive towards women and once severely beat his second wife Vicki in a jealous rage. The former middleweight champion had pneumonia, reports said.
