BoJo is our hero
HE MAY have been criticised for the slow response to help British citizens abroad affected by the recent hurricanes, but I would like to thank Boris Johnson for helping my granddaughter Rebecca, a nurse, who was abandoned in a makeshift hospital in Ethiopia with two dying children.
She managed to phone her mother, who got in touch with the British authorities. Mr Johnson reacted with incredible speed, sending an armed guard immediately. Early the next day, a car and escort arrived to take them to the nearest city.
The children were taken to a hospice and Rebecca to a hospital with secure accommodation until she could be put on a flight home.
