bosses should read today’s report by the Financial Conduct Authority into their treatment of older customers and hang their heads in shame. By closing branches and pushing online banking, they leave some older people unable to manage their money. It’s time for Britain’s banks to abandon the dash for the bottom line and put their customers first.
