ONLY 90 SHOPPING DAYS ‘TILL CHRISTMAS... Well here we are at the end of September And all the Christmas stock is out earlier than I remember. Shops seem to put Christmas displays on earlier each year, You never get a chance to get your mind into gear. There just doesn’t seem to be set shopping seasons any more, The special things to buy stand out as you wander round the store. Gone are the days when things went on sale a few weeks before the event, You can get mixed-up wondering for what celebration the goods are actually meant. In September out go scary things for Halloween and trick or treat Wedged between the holiday things which is no mean feat. Easter eggs go on sale a week after Christmas Day And until March/April is where they will stay. So the best suggestion seems to be Just take a wander round the shops to see Exactly what is for sale on that particular day Add about six months then you will be able to say: ‘Oh it will soon be Easter, Halloween or Christmas Day.’ Pay for the goods and then be on your way. linda hill, rugby, warwickshire.
