Martin Warner, 64 Chairman, Michelmersh
THE founder and chairman of Michelmersh Brick Holdings has sold £656,250 worth of shares.
Martin Warner, who set up the brick maker in 1997 with Eric Gadsden and is a fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, sold 750,000 shares at 87.5p each.
The 64-year-old, who is married with two children and lives in Hertfordshire, still has a 5.4pc holding in the company. Michelmersh is Britain’s biggest brick maker, producing 72m clay bricks, tiles and paving stones a year.
