Boss’s £730k boost

THE boss of Britain’s biggest tech company has splashed out almost £730,000 on shares in the FTSE group.

Micro Focus executive chairman Kevin Loosemore has bought 30,000 extra shares, filings with the London Stock Exchange revealed.

Days earlier it emerged that the 58-year- old, who already holds shares worth about £17m in the company, could be in line for one of the UK’s biggest ever corporate payouts.

As revealed by the Mail, Loosemore might receive £37.4m if the share price hits 3400p by September 2019. Yesterday they were at 2449p, up 0.5pc or 13p.
