MP’s royal slur

I am appalled at the attack mP emma Dent Coad has made on members of our Royal Family.

She has every right to her republican ideals, but if she showed any degree of intelligence, she’d criticise the institution as a whole, rather than the individuals in it.

She mocks Prince Harry despite all he has done for our wounded heroes (has she never heard of the Invictus games?) and the hope he has given to so many.

She hurts not only him, but us as well with her nasty vitriol.

Liz owen, Gillingham, dorset. I am glad we have a monarchy that provides our head of state to whom the government, armed forces and police swear allegiance. It ensures we do not have dictators, idiots, extremists or deniers of history in this essential role.
