WHAT TO WATCH OUT FOR

If you fear your child has sepsis call NHS 111. Symptoms may include:

An unusually high or low temperature

Mottled skin

Feels dizzy/ faint or has slurred speech

Suffers nausea, vomiting or diarrhoea

Looks pale/ has chills or is shivering

Fast heartbeat

Fast breathing/ breathlessness

Severe muscle pain

Less urine production

Loss of consciousness/ suffers disorientation
