LUKAKU INJURY SCARE
ROMELU LUKAKU was sent for scans by Belgium yesterday after reporting for international duty with an ankle injury. The Manchester United striker is understood to have suffered the injury in Saturday’s 4-0 win over Crystal Palace and did not train with the Belgium squad. Their FA said an MRI scan had shown no fracture or structural damage but added: ‘In the next days he will follow an individual training programme. It is, however, too early to say that he won’t be match-fit for the Bosnia and/or Cyprus game.’ Meanwhile, Lukaku has denied that he held an excessively loud party in Beverly Hills last summer. His lawyer yesterday entered a not guilty plea on his behalf in court.
