RIO ONLY WANTS ONE FIGHT

RIO FERDINAND has played down his foray into boxing by revealing he intends to have only one fight. The 38-year-old’s collaboration with Betfair was branded as a journey from ‘Defender to Contender’ a fortnight ago, with a promotional video claiming he was ‘aiming for belts’. But the former Manchester United centre back told BBC Breakfast: ‘I want to see if I can get a licence and have one fight. I am not looking to have a career here.’
