BANK of England notes captured by the Germans in occupied countries have found their way to India, where the enemy is trying to convert them into other currencies. The Indian government has announced that Bank of England notes must be exchanged for rupees before December 4.

A ‘MUTINY’ has broken out aboard Radio Caroline, Britain’s first pirate radio ship. Four disc jockeys — Mike Allen, Garry kemp, Roger Gale and Jon Sydney — have left and 22-year- old Tony Blackburn, the station’s most popular DJ, is joining Radio London next month.
