Ready for the huntin’, shootin’ and nose ring set?

COUNTRY Life, the hunting, shooting and fishing set’s house journal, is becoming increasingly ‘edgy’.

Two weeks after it featured a burlesque dancer known as Miss Scaramouche on its celebrated ‘Girls in Pearls’ page, the magazine has broken new ground.

In the edition on sale now, the ‘ posh pin- up’, Miss Arabella Kelly, is wearing — horror of horrors — a ring through her nose.

‘The only other nose ring I can remember featuring in Country Life was through the snout of a prize pig,’ remarks one long-term reader.

Bella, 21, who has just graduated from the University of Bristol, with a degree in Politics and International Relations, and is now travelling in Australia, attended £35,595-per-year Stowe School, alma mater of Prince Harry’s ex-girlfriend Cressida Bonas.

She is following the example of her mother, Melanie Miller, who graced the page in 1986, above — without any accoutrements to her hooter, needless to say.
