Masked cowards

READING two stories in the Mail, i was struck by the differences.

in austria, a woman was forced to remove a niqab now that they are illegal under a newly introduced law.

Meanwhile, masked ‘activists’ at the Conservative Party conference in Manchester were chanting and displaying placards, the contents of which most would find offensive.

Why are these ‘activists’ allowed to hide their faces and their identities, especially as similar events often descend into violence against anyone who disagrees with their actions?

it should be illegal for anyone, regardless of race, creed, colour or political persuasion, to cover their face in public.

MY ELDEST son hanged himself two years ago. seeing that disgusting banner demanding ‘ Hang the tories’, with effigies of men suspended from a bridge, made me feel physically sick.

Surely it is a hate crime? if a poster was put up suggesting hanging someone of a different race or creed, it most certainly would be.

AFTER seeing the photographs of the hooligans marching through Manchester, i thought they looked just like any other terrorists.

They should be banned from attending demonstrations if their faces are covered and arrested if they do not remove their masks. they are snivelling cowards.

At least the demonstrators in Barcelona had the courage to protest without hiding their faces.
