Get real on students

HOW nice of Universities Minister Jo Johnson to tell students they need to live frugally and not rely on parental support.

My son is at university in London. His loan is £6,200 per year and his rent £6,800. On what is he supposed to live?

His course involves 40 hours of taught time per week plus some evenings and weekends. So when is he supposed to get a job?

Obviously, we support him and are lucky we are able to. However our other son is applying for next year so finances will be split. Jo Johnson needs to live in the real world.
