A ‘HOT MAMA’ AND A FASHION COPYCAT

ALL self-respecting mothers of a certain age would rather be seen as their daughters’ friend than their custodian — and Doria and Carole are no exception.

Meghan has glowingly called Doria a ‘free spirit’ and ‘hot mama’, while Doria apparently once had a personalised registration plate in tribute to her daughter, which read: MEGNME. ‘We can just have so much fun together and yet I’ll still find so much solace in her support,’ Meghan has said. ‘That duality coexists the same way it would in a best friend.’

From the array of paparazzi snaps showing Carole hanging out and occasionally larking around with Kate and Pippa, and more recently, Carole wearing a copycat version of an Alexander McQueen dress once worn by Kate, it seems she is similarly keen to forget she is some 30 years their senior.
