Pastry factory shut down

FINSBURY Food Group has confirmed it is to shut its loss-making Grain D’Or pastry factory, resulting in the loss of 250 jobs.

After consulting staff and unions, the Brent-based bakery, which was bought as part of Finsbury’s takeover of the Fletcher Group of Bakeries in 2014, will shut by December 2.
