QI HAVE thin arms and as I’ve got older I’ve developed wrinkles from my shoulders to the crook in my elbows, which makes my skin look crepey. I’ve tried exercising to develop muscle to fill them out, but it seems to have made them worse. Is there anything else I can do?

AVERTICAL lines on the arms can be ageing, and slim people are prone to them. This is because as we get older skin loses elasticity and wrinkles develop.

Arm exercises to tone the triceps and biceps and topical products that contain retinol will benefit and improve skin quality. However, in your case it sounds as though a clinical procedure should be considered.

After a consultation and assessment, I would recommend a combination of treatments that work together to smooth and tighten the arms.

First, a skin remodelling procedure called Profhilo (£550 per arm) can be injected in points along your arms, to tighten skin and smooth wrinkles.

Then INTRA cel, a radio frequency skin tightening technology (£795 per treatment), combined with microneedling, can boost existing collagen while stimulating its production.

This should give swift results that will improve over time.
