Whites have more suicidal thoughts
WHITE people are far more likely to have suicidal thoughts than those from other ethnic groups – and to self-harm.
Over their lifetimes, some 21.6 per cent of white British people have contemplated suicide, compared with 20.7 per cent of blacks and 13.1 per cent of Asians.
The figures also show that white people are almost twice as likely as black people to have self-harmed.
It says 8.1 per cent of white British people have harmed themselves, compared with 4.8 per cent of blacks.
