Injury rules Kante out for 7 games
ANTONIO CONTE could be without N’Golo Kante for up to seven games after he injured his hamstring while playing for France. The initial prognosis said Kante needs rest for 20 to 25 days, but Conte is insisting on a second scan in the faint hope of better news. The indispensable Kante is set to miss two Champions League ties with Roma — and the Premier League game against Manchester United on November 5 is a doubt. Only Cesc Fabregas and Tiemoue Bakayoko are available as fit options for the two deep midfield slots. Conte, who revealed his wife and daughter have moved to Surrey from Italy, said: ‘This is a big loss for us because you know very well the importance of Kante.’ Alvaro Morata is also out of today’s trip to Crystal Palace.
