AN Article on 12 July suggested that a supporter of the ‘non-party affiliated’ group High Hopes for High Peak had branded Andrew Bingham a ‘nonce’ and that the group organised a joint event with Labour candidate ruth George. We would like to make clear that the offensive comment was made by a member of the public on one of the group’s Facebook posts and that the event was in fact organised with Fair Funding For All Schools.
