MOSES ADDS TO INJURY WOES FOR CHELSEA’S CONTE

-

ANTONIO CONTE’S injury problems at Chelsea deepened yesterday as it emerged Victor Moses is set to spend at least four weeks on the sidelines. Moses suffered a hamstring injury at former club Crystal Palace on Saturday. He is the third Chelsea player in quick succession to suffer a hamstring injury. Forward Alvaro Morata has spent a period on the treatment table after limping off against Manchester City in September. And midfielder N’Golo Kante is set to miss the rest of the month with an injury suffered while playing for France last week. SWANSEA are discussing a deal for Slovenian left back Matic Paljk. The 20-year-old is a free agent after his former club FC Koper folded and he is ready to sign a one-year deal. Paljk has impressed Swansea coaches in a trial and has figured for the club’s Under 23s. He was recommended by scouts who had seen him in action last season and for Slovenia Under 21s. MANCHESTER UNITED are handing a trial to Swedish midfield starlet Rines Arifi. The 14-year-old from Husie IF, who can also play as a striker, will be allowed to visit United’s Carrington training complex at the end of this month. Arifi, who lists Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Paul Pogba and Cristiano Ronaldo as his idols, said: ‘It feels great. I’ve dreamed about it since I was little.’
