Beguiled by Botox
TWO highly sought-after GPs in the prime of their careers have recently left my local practice to start cosmetic aesthetic clinics.
It seems a waste of their training and talent for them to give it all up so they can inject faces with Botox.
If I call the GP surgery for an appointment, I am hard-pushed to see a doctor for at least two weeks unless it’s urgent.
But if I choose to ring a cosmetic aesthetic clinic, I will be seen within a couple of days, relieved of several hundred pounds and hope that after the procedures my friends will think I look ten years longer. ELIZABETH MARSHALL,
