Selfless singletons

HOW can it be suggested that childless women cannot experience true selflessness (Femail)?

What about those who devote themselves to caring full-time for an elderly and much- loved parent, giving up their own dreams of marriage and children?

What about all those childless women who devote their free time to do voluntary work with the homeless, the needy and the lonely? You could argue they are more selfless than a mother who cares for her own child.
