TRAVEL MAN: 48 HOURS IN ROME, 8.30PM, CH4

RICHARD AYOADE returns with a new series of the joyfully silly yet informative show in which he and a celebrity companion make the best of 48 hours in various exotic l locations overseas. Tonight, he and Matt Lucas (pictured right) enjoy a whistlestop tour of the truly e extraordinary city of Rome. After popping into a fabulous traditional hat shop in search of protection for Matt’s vulnerable scalp, they set out to explore. The Trevi fountain, the Vatican, the Forum and the Colosseum are all on the itinerary, along with less obvious stops such as gladiator school. Daft but fun.
