OUR CUTIES ON DUTY

Heart-melting snapshots of Forces families

- By Xantha Leatham

WITH parents in the military, these children have to be brave when mum or dad is away, sometimes for months at a time.

But those moments where they are together again are so very special – as these heartwarming photos show.

From emotional youngsters welcoming parents home from duty to a little boy proudly inspecting his father’s medals, the snaps are among 15 that appear in a calendar created by charity Little Troopers to raise money for military families. There are three versions of the calendar with different covers for the Army, Navy and RAF, though the images inside are the same.

Founder Louise Fetigan said working on the project was a ‘privilege’, adding: ‘The pictures show many of the emotions experienced by a military family and some very cute babies showing their pride for their mum or dad’s work.’ The £9.99 calendar is available from www.littletroopers.net
