Sangster son races to the altar

ROBERT SANGSTER was known for his generous hospitality — so no doubt the late billionaire racing tycoon would have been proud of his son Max’s opulent wedding in Ibiza at the weekend.

Financier Max, 27, is the son of glamorous blonde socialite Susan Sangster, who was unkindly labelled a ‘career divorcee’ after amassing a fortune through her four marriages.

Happily, that did not deter girl-about-town Eveie Longdon, 28, who is close friends with Princess Eugenie, from tying the knot with Max (above) in a ceremony on the Spanish island where Susan owns a sprawling six-bedroom villa.

Princess Diana’s favourite designer, Bruce Oldfield, had been keen to make the dress, but Eveie opted for a spectacular gown by Zuhair Murad, complete with a long train and lace veil (right).

Eveie will not have had any trouble sourcing seductive frillies to wear underneath: she launched her own lingerie brand, Bare London, which sells a lacy white knicker and bra set for £100.
