Cowell set to miss X Factor after falling down stairs
SIMON Cowell was taken to hospital yesterday after being knocked unconscious falling down a flight of stairs.
The early morning incident happened as the X Factor judge was going to get some hot milk. He had to be stretchered into an ambulance wearing a neck brace and is ‘95 per cent certain’ to miss the start of tonight’s X Factor live shows, ITV insiders said.
The 5 -year-old underwent a series of scans, including an MRI, at Chelsea and Westminster NHS hospital before being discharged at around 3.20pm.
Wearing a hospital tag around his wrist, Cowell gave fans a thumbs up as he returned to his West London home last night. He is said to be ‘recovering well’ with partner Lauren Silverman and son, Eric, three.
