restored Jensen Interceptor in which legendary comedian Eric Morecambe suffered his first heart attack at just 42 is up for auction next month.

He paid £4,500 for the 6.3-litre V8 coupe in 1968. Two months later, he had to be taken to hospital when he fell ill by the roadside after appearing at Batley Variety Club with Ernie Wise.

The interceptor is expected to fetch up to £110,000 in the sale at the NEC Classic Motor Show Silverstone Auctions in Birmingham. But it should bring someone some sunshine.
