Shameless Indulgence

WITH darker nights upon us, a warming scented candle can transform a room into a homely haven, and Sisley has launched three luxurious ones (£53 each, sisley-paris.co.uk).

The Campagne green jar candle evokes the freshness of cut grass with bergamot, lemon and basil. Green tomato leaves, jasmine and vetiver give it a floral burst. The burgundy Rose candle (pictured) smells of just-picked flowers, combining the Izia rose and citrus notes with amber, musk and sandalwood.

Finally, the Tuberose white jar candle is a re-launch of the original Black Tuberose candle. It mixes a sensual fragrance of pepper, tuberose, jasmine absolute and ylang-ylang with Peru balsam and Bourbon vanilla.
