Charles and Camilla’s reunion – and a VERY rare public kiss
THEY’RE not big on public displays of affection.
But after being apart for several days, Charles and Camilla couldn’t resist a quick kiss in front of the cameras yesterday.
The couple – proving that absence does make the heart grow fonder – shrugged off formal constraints and puckered up when they met in Singapore at the start of an 11-day tour of south-east Asia.
The Duchess of Cornwall had travelled out ahead to go to an undisclosed location for a private holiday, something she had done when on previous official foreign tours.

time they shared a public peck was 12 years ago, after a polo match in Cirencester in 2005, while their first – some 29 years after they first met and four years before they married – came in 2001 at a party at London’s Somerset House.
On their tour the couple will also visit Malaysia, Brunei and India. Yesterday they attended an event celebrating the Commonwealth Games at which Charles held the games’s baton, which is on a relay around the world.
The couple also met Singaporean athletes who will compete in the games in Australia next year.
