- SUNDERLAND’S Paddy McNair has been included in Northern Ireland’s World Cup play-off squad to face Switzerland, even though he only returned from an 11-month lay-off on Saturday.

COLOGNE have been fined £53,000 and ordered to pay Arsenal for the damage their fans caused during their delayed Europa League match at the Emirates. BURY have sacked Lee Clark as manager after just eight months. Saturday’s 1-0 defeat by Doncaster was Bury’s fourth in a row, leaving them second bottom of League One. Their assistant manager Alan Thompson has left the club, too.
