Kim Wrong-un... Racism rumpus as Walliams dresses as tyrant at Ross party
DAVID walliams has sparked a racism row after choosing to dress as Kim Jong-un for Jonathan Ross’s Halloween bash.
The comedian shared a picture of himself in the costume – which included make-up and prosthetics around his eyes – with the caption ‘Happy Halloween from Kim Jong-un’.
But hordes of the 46-year- old’s 608,000 Instagram followers were quick to criticise him for dressing up as the North Korean leader for the chat show host’s annual fancy dress party. One wrote: ‘The scariest part of this costume is how you find it acceptable to continue to dress up as other races for “comedy”.’
Others defended him, including one commenting: ‘Ah the professionally outraged delicate flowers strike again. Not racist, get a grip people.’ Meanwhile other guests opted for less controversial get-ups.
