GAMBLeRS betting on the August fight between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor gave bookmaker Paddy Power Betfair a lift.

Chief executive Breon Corcoran described the Las Vegas bout, which was won by Mayweather, as ‘ the highest- profile betting event of the year’.
